Hawzah News Agency- During the ceremony—which in previous years was held in the presence of the martyred Leader of the Revolution at Imam Khomeini Hussainiyah—Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Tabatabaei-Nejad, referring to passages from Ziyarat Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (pbuh), spoke about the effects of accompanying and remaining alongside the Wali of God.
Enumerating the fruits of such companionship, he said: “Purification and resemblance to the Wali of God, attaining knowledge and insight, the emergence of divine love and heartfelt devotion in receptive hearts, and prosperity in this world and the Hereafter are among the results of accompanying the Wali of God. The prerequisite for this companionship is avoiding both excess and negligence; one must neither fall behind the Wali of God nor move ahead of him or fall into extremism.”
Also during the ceremony, Mr. Meysam Motiee and Mr. Mahdi Rasouli recited elegies in mourning for Imam Aba Abdillah al-Hussain (pbuh), his purified Household, and his loyal companions, and they also performed a lamentation for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
